About Word of Life

Mission Statement

Word of Life Church is striving to be a biblically based family of God with a very simple mission: "Changing Hearts and Changing Our Communities." By that, we want to turn every heart to Jesus and make Him better known to everyone we come into contact with. We believe that a heart turned to Jesus will make that life better and better lives make better communities. That is our consistent mission as a church.

Our method of accomplishing that mission will be based on the "Four C's of Faith":

1. Crazy Faith - Seeing the impossible as possible. Declaring those possibilities and pursuing them with fervency.

2. Caring Faith - This is based on a love that will foster, look after, and watch over one another.

3. Compassionate Faith - Is having a passion for those who are hurting and who are in need of a friend. Those who operate in this element of faith are sensitive to the needs of people and are charitable in giving. Giving of their means as well as themselves. These are filled with mercy and understanding and provide an environment where people feel safe and loved.

4. Committed Faith - Pledge to a certain course or policy. These are compelled to accomplish any needed task, whether it is working around the church or passing out flyers. Committed faith is a lifestyle, not a concept! They are committed to seeing God glorified and people saved.
