The Beauty for Ashes (BFA) Church and Ministry staff wants to invite you to make yourself at home here! The heart of BFA is to see healing brought to brokenhearted areas in Christians. God has indeed brought about “beauty for ashes” in the life of BFA's overseer, Cyndi Foster, who received great victory over sorrow and grief after the death of her young daughter.
The ministry of BFA grew from a home bible study into a church and international ministry. BFA became a recognized non-profit in 1995 and reclassified as a church in 2010. BFA purchased a warehouse in Newport News, Virginia and transformed it into a comfortable house of worship and base for outreach. From its new location, BFA has taken on a number of ventures: producing a daily radio program and over a hundred teaching series, hosting conferences, distributing groceries, developing an online ministry school for international church leaders, and providing a local church to its families.
Cyndi is an ordained minister by a Pentecostal network, and she is licensed through the city of Newport News. Her book, Joy Comes In the Morning, is in its second printing with an updated version to be released soon. Cyndi has two radio broadcasts in the Hampton Roads area.
