Worship services are the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month at 9:00 a.m.
Walnut UMC has been in existence for over 150 years. Most of our members drive 20 miles or more just because they love the fellowship and enthusiasm they experience.
You know you're in a rural Texas church when you have to cross two cattleguards to get to the sanctuary. Or, when the hymnal of choice is the Cokesbury. Or when after a rain people compare rain gauge measurements. That's Walnut!
Friendly people... no dress code...an informal style of worship.
