About St. Albans' Episcopal Church
-
St. Alban's is a family of God welcoming everyone home. We're also a community of people drawn to the grace of Jesus Christ. We want to learn from him and follow him. As we do this, we take his love"”in word and deed"”to our homes, our community, and our world.
Our members include lifelong Episcopalians, people who came to the Episcopal Church from other denominations, and people who are new to Christianity.
We have ministries for education and fellowship for men and women, and ways our congregation can serve those in need (at home and abroad). We offer an energetic Children's program, and a vibrant Student Ministry. We offer opportunities to study the Bible and grow deeper in your faith.
Our worship services feature beautiful traditional sacred music, readings from the Bible, sermons that are relevant without being preachy or shallow, and Holy Eucharist (also called Holy Communion or the Lord's Supper). And through it all, we communicate God's grace to sinners, saints, and sufferers.
As people in the Anglican tradition of Christianity, our worship services (what we call liturgy) combine the ancient practices of the early Church with the biblical insights of the Protestant Reformation.
We are friendly, warm, and real. Wherever you are in your faith, you are welcome.
