About Lane Prairie Baptist Church

Lane Prairie Baptist Church has been part of Johnson County Texas for 140 years.
Lane Prairie Baptist Church was originally located West of Highway 174 near where Old Lane Prairie Cemetery still sits (adjacent to the railroad tracks). In 1905 when the railroad came through, Lane Prairie Baptist Church decided to relocate away from the railroad tracks to the location where it sits today.
Lane Prairie Baptist Church is a member of the Southwest Metroplex Baptist Association, the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Our church follows the beliefs of the Baptist Faith.
