Our Beliefs

WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who is God the Son, our Lord and Savior. Through Him alone are all things restored and made new. By Christ alone do all things work together for the good and God's glory of those who love the Lord. We exist because of Him and to serve others for Him.


WHY DO WE THANK HIM?
We are grateful for God's grace and mercy to all who trust in His atonement on the Cross, and its purpose. We rejoice in His resurrection, which gives life to the dead and hope to the lost. We choose to live joyously because we know that Christ is risen. He is risen, indeed!


HOW DO WE LIVE OUT OUR FAITH?
We love others because He first loved us and gave Himself so we might have everlasting life. We enthusiastically believe that we are saved to serve others so that God's love is demonstrated, hope is given, and our Lord is honored. We are passionate about our faith in Jesus and are entirely committed to making a difference in the world, starting with our local community. As Wesleyans, we live out our faith by holding to this simple truth: Christ our faith. Christ our hope. Christ our life. Everything pours out from that foundation.


WHY IS THE BIBLE IMPORTANT TO US?
We are a Bible-based Christian church. We believe the Bible is inerrant and infallible. We lean on the Holy Spirit to empower us to obey God. We obey not out of legalism, but rather out of joyful thankfulness. The Bible is God's voice to our hearts to be studied and memorized, and its truths acted upon.

Our VISION
We are a community dedicated to living a holy, Christ-honoring life guided by God's Great Commission, as stated in Matthew 28:18-20:

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We lovingly declare that our faithful God is the Bread of Life, the Living Water, and the Rock Who anchors all hungry and thirsty souls wanting restoration and resurrection.

We are rooted and grounded in love. We offer blessings to others mirroring the Apostle Paul's sentiment in Ephesians 3:16-21...
