Why Epiphany?
The word epiphany comes from the Greek word meaning "to appear, show forth, or manifest." This "showing forth" has a special meaning for Christians; it refers to God being revealed to human beings as a human in the person of Jesus Christ.
The purpose of Epiphany Lutheran Church is to show forth Christ in all that we do.
We believe that God reaches out and calls us all by name as his own children. God does this out of perfect love for us. In thanksgiving for this wonderful gift of grace, we joyfully "show forth" what God does for us in Jesus Christ - by living as God's disciples.
Never does God's love and salvation for us depend on our own works of faith or how smart we are or how we look...
We are a community of faith committed to proclaiming the Gospel to the world. Epiphany Church has been so blessed with gifted people that make up this mission community. There are many opportunities to put your gifts to work at Epiphany Lutheran Church. As we partner with Christ to renew lives, we need your vision, your skills and talents, and your presence, because each one of us together comprises the ‘normal’ of Epiphany.
