About Bridwell Heights Presbyterian Church
-
What makes Bridwell Heights Presbyterian different from other churches?
Of course, being Presbyterian, we hold to a form of church government where the Church is ruled by a number of elders who are elected by the congregation. The word “Presbyterian” comes from the Greek word “presbyter” which means “elder.” These elders are under Jesus Christ, and are therefore obligated to rule only under the authority of the Bible.
We are a member of the newly formed denomination: Christ Reformed Presbyterian Church
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Bridwell Heights Presbyterian Church desires to glorify God through biblical worship, strengthening individuals and covenant families, and bringing the Gospel to the lost of the Tri-Cities and the world, by faithfully doing and teaching all that Christ commands, as summarized in the Westminster Standards.
