We would like to welcome you to the Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church. We seek to advance the Kingdom of God as we minister to others in Jesus’ name and we invite you to worship with us. Sparrow Swamp was organized in 1892 to meet the spiritual needs of those living in the Sparrow Swamp community and for over 100 years, Sparrow Swamp has proudly kept the intent of her founding fathers. We are associated with the Florence Baptist Association, the South Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Through this association, we are able to support more than 9,000 missionaries around the world. We believe in the inspiration of Scripture and that faith in Christ is the only way of salvation. Our goal is to minister to those who are in need, tell them about Christ, and provide everyone with opportunities for worship, fellowship, and ministry.
It is hoped you will discover Sparrow Swamp by attending worship, Bible study, or some activity of our church. We want you to feel welcome and to know that you are invited to become a vital part of our fellowship.
