Corporate worship on Sunday is the engine and centerpiece of Evergreen Church. This is because Jesus reorders our hearts’ desires so that we want him and his glory above all. Out of life’s lonely wreckage, he is shaping us into a beautiful, worshiping community.

Our weekly worship follows a dramatic pattern. God calls, and we respond. Below are the basic features of our worship. Periodically, we also include baptisms, public thanksgivings and other opportunities to celebrate God’s faithfulness.

  • Evergreen Church is a congregation of Jesus' people and a member of the Presbyterian Church in America. We exist to make known God's love to Salem, Oregon.

    Our vision is for the whole church to share the whole gospel with the whole world starting in our own backyard.

Children and Youth Activities

  • Children of all ages are welcome in our Sunday morning worship service. For parents' convenience, if they so desire, we also offer a nursery for children ages 0-3 during this time.

    At 9:00am on Sundays we have Sunday School for all ages.

    During LifeTogether, on alternating Wednesdays at 7:00 P.M., we host classes for all ages.
