Community Bible Church was established in 1932 and is independent, non-denominational, evangelical, Bible believing, and Bible teaching. We emphasize the fundamental doctrines of the faith and missionary outreach, providing opportunities for worship, study, fellowship, and service.
Statement of Faith
Authority
We believe that the Scriptures, composed of the Old and New Testaments, were given by inspiration of God, inerrant in the original writings (plenary, verbal inspiration), and are, as we now have them, in every essential particular as originally given.
The Triune God
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
Man and Sin
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Of himself, man is unable to remedy his lost condition.
Faith
Our faith rests wholly on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
Christian Life
We believe that those who name the name of Christ should be careful to maintain good works, and that they should resist those influences which mar Christian testimony.
The Adversary
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, that he is a created being, the author of sin and the declared enemy of God and man. By Christ, he is a defeated foe whose doom is assured.
The Church
We believe that the Church, which is the body and espoused Bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this present age.
Local Churches
We believe that the establishment and continuances of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the new Testament Scriptures.
