We desire to lead people into becoming authentic and devoted Christ-followers. Then, we desire that we would see God transform us into agents of his grace and truth in our community and around the world. Our hope is to allow you to experience the true portrait of Jesus, not the portrait that our culture and media have depicted. All are welcome, with no prerequisites (preconditions or qualifications) of church background or prior belief. Bring your faith and your doubt, your joy and your tears, your praise and your selfishness. We will echo Jesus’ call in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (NLT)
We hope to serve you by:
Learning together about what authentic relationships look like.
Guiding us to a transformed life patterned after Jesus.
And being a part of serving others in practical ways. Which leads to a life of significance.
We believe that:
People matter. People are valuable. People have potential.
People far from God matter to him. He desires that people would enter a relationship with him. (Luke 19:10)
Everything that you have belongs to God. He challenges us to be good custodians of it. (1 Chronicles 29:14)
The Bible is God’s divine message to us that guides us. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Helping others in becoming authentic and devoted Christ-followers is our mission. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Helping others learn to love God and love people is our purpose. (Matthew 22:37-40)
Completing God’s mission and purpose means taking faith-filled risks. People that God uses (including Biblical personalities) are not ‘heroes’ because they were perfect, but because they worked with God in his perfect work. This always involves change. (Hebrews 11)
But none of this happens without the indwelling and empowerment of God’s Spirit at work in the Christ-follower. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
