Sycamore Tree Church is a Contemporary Worship Center just outside of the historical district of Steubenville, Ohio. Much of the music you'll hear and sing on Sunday mornings at Sycamore Tree is similar to what you hear on the radio. Plus the messages that Pastor Steve shares are not only relevant to the life in the twenty-first century, they've also been called "interactive" as he often involves the congregation in his sermons.
A "come as you are" congregation, you'll find as many people in jeans, shorts and other casual clothing as you do those in that traditional "Sunday best." We're pretty certain Jesus doesn't care what you wear to worship, as long as you come to worship!
By 2006 the previous Calvary-Fifth Church started to look new, so it was renamed Sycamore Tree Church. It's now an active revitalized congregation serving Christ at the corner of North and Fourth.
