About St Alban's Episcopal Church

  • St. Alban's is a congregation of the Episcopal Church, one of the many church bodies descended from the Church of England. We are members of the Anglican Communion, the third largest body of Christians in the world.

We believe in following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, whose life, death and resurrection saved the world.

We believe that God love you - no exceptions.

Our Vision for St. Alban's is to be a spiritual home to share God's grace through worship, service, faith, and love. We welcome all and strive to promote justice, peace, and love in our communities by following Jesus.

Come! Worship, Learn, Care, Connect, with Us!

Children and Youth Activities

  • Children's Ministry

    Children's Library

We have a library with books geared for children of all ages that cover a broad range of topics from Bible stories, faith, and the world around us. We encourage households to check out books and take them home for reading fun.

    Nursery

Children are welcome and encouraged to be in worship. We also know that sometimes it can be hard for younger kids to be in worship. Nursery is available during the 10:15am service on Sundays for children ages 5 and younger. Nursery care is provided by equipped and safe church trained caring individuals.

    Worship Resources

In the rear of the sanctuary are children's worship resources for non-readers and readers. These include activity sheets, bulletins, and more. During COVID, the bulletins can be found in the weekly Saturday Worship Red Door.

    CONFIRMATION

The sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop" (BCP, p. 860). Those who were baptized at an early age and those baptized as adults without laying on of hands by a bishop are invited to make a mature public affirmation of their faith, recommit themselves to the responsibilities of their baptism, and receive laying on of hands by a bishop (BCP, p. 412). Adults baptized with the laying on of hands by a bishop are considered to be confirmed. We invite those in middle school or older to join us to learn about the Episcopal Church, the Bible, and continued exploration of their faith in preparation of making public affirmation of their faith. The learning, instruction, and conversations are done through classes which meet monthly.

If you are interested in being confirmed, please contact Fr. Devin.

    BI-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

"What's the Buzz?", a newsletter with announcements and resources for households.

EYC MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP

Currently suspended with COVID. We gather monthly for fellowship, service, and learning. For all 6th-12th graders.
