We are multicultural and bilingual as a community. We are committed to social justice in our mission. We are stewards of beauty and of deep-rooted, evolving spiritual practice, coming from both the catholic and protestant traditions of the Church. We are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, straight; of African, Asian, Indigenous, Latino, European descent; of the Great Generation, Baby boomers, Gen X, Millenials, youth and children who are Future Leaders. We come for healing and consolation; we discover our call to be healers and reconcilers. The Body of Christ transforms us and empowers us to transform our world.

Nuestra tradición / Our tradition
We are a diverse, integrated, and growing urban parish, embracing both the catholic and the protestant traditions of the Church. Somos una parroquia urbana y integrada de pueblos diversos. Abarcamos tradiciones católicas y protestantes.
Our Parish has a history of involvement in the Mt. Auburn community. The first HeadStart Program in Mt. Auburn was here; The Mt. Auburn Community Council first met here; Bethany House (a shelter for homeless mothers and children) began in our Rectory; AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati (AVOC) had its first office here. For twenty years we were proud to be home to the New Spirit Metropolitan Community Church. Tenemos una historia de acción en la comunidad, incluyendo HeadStart, Concilio de la Comunidad Mt. Our principal gatherings as a community are to celebrate the Holy Eucharist, also known as Communion or the Mass. We believe that Christ is truly present to us in people gathered, in Word proclaimed, and in bread broken and shared. All of our common life and work are offered towards the joyful liberation and empowerment of God's children. We seek to become an outpost of the Reign of God.
