Ministries
- Out Reach Committe
focuses on the ability to provide immediate assistance to members of our congregation as well as Durham community members who are experiencing emergency circumstances relating to food and clothing. Besides assisting with their physical needs, our ministry also provides them with literature to help them move beyond their immediate crisis. All individuals are recognized as being valuable and created by Almighty God.
Men Of Bethel
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people. Remember that the Lord will give you as a reward what he has kept for his people. For Christ is the real Master you serve. (Colossians 3:23-24)
Woman Missionary Society
Is a church wide organization of the AMEC made up of women who are called to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world by supporting the mission of the church, and helping one another engage in ministry through action and growth.
Lay Organization
Is commissioned to teach, train and empower its members for lay ministry, global leadership and service following the tenets of Jesus Christ. It also instills in its membership a love and appreciation for the history, tradition and principles of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
