About Bethel Full Gospel Assembly of God

We are a young, friendly, growing, Assemblies of God church. You will find that we have many ministries to meet all of the needs of you or your family. In addition to our Sunday Morning Worship, we offer several small group Bible studies called LifeGroups, various outreach ministries, an active Youth Program, Children’s Church, Royal Rangers (for boys), Mpact (for girls), and much, much more.

But the foundation of our church is not based simply on programs, but rather on relationships. Our primary relationship is the one we all should have with God the Father and His Son Jesus. Everything we do revolves around this.

Second, we encourage caring, loving relationships within our church body. Bethel is truly a church that loves each other!

Thirdly, we strongly believe that good relationships with those OUTSIDE of the church are a vital ingredient to fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). The Bible tells us that “they will know we are Christians by our love.” So it is important that we show the love of God outwardly as well as within the church walls.

Children and Youth Activities

bethel kidz

Bethel Kidz is the Children’s Ministry of Bethel. Every Sunday, our children get to experience a one of a kind, exciting, dynamic ministry geared just for them. Children K-5th grade participate in an active learning environment, which utilizes games, crafts, puppets, prizes, bible stories and other activities to teach children the truths of God’s word.

Bethel Kidz is staffed by our friendly & responsible volunteer team which is lead by our children's pastor Nalene Vanderpoel. All workers involved in Bethel kids have been thoroughly trained and screened, because we always strive to provide a safe environment for our children. All children must be registered prior to attending Bethel Kidz. Registration is fast and easy. So please see one of our friendly volunteers at the registration table located right outside out Bethel Kidz wing.

royal rangers for boys

Royal Rangers is about hands-on adventure and side-by-side relationship building. It's how boys learn and relate best. Beyond the fun, boys discover they have what it takes to be men as they spend time with mentors outdoors, in the gym, at the computer, on the service project site, or on the stage. Royal Rangers provides boys with fun activities in five areas of interest, which we refer to as our "core competencies": Outdoor Activities, Sports, Trade Skills, Technologies, and Arts.

Many activities in Royal Rangers involve earning merits, which are awards based on the development of skills in one or more of these core areas.

m pact for girls

Mpact Kids and Mpact Girls Clubs is a program for winning girls (and preschool boys) to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact Clubs provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders.

We meet every Wednesday Night @ 6:30pm and rides are available. a
UAlbany Basic

we are a non-denominational campus ministry at the University of Albany.
We're are an ever growing group of college students at UAlbany who love Jesus and love the student body here on campus. You might find us cooking out on Dutch Quad, tossing a football around Collins Circle, or handing out free Bibles and food at the Campus Center.

Come be a part of something BIGGER and enjoy refreshments at our meetings, every Thursday night in Assembly Hall (next to the Ballroom in CC) at 7PM during the academic school year.
