About St Paul's Lutheran Church

St. Paul's Lutheran Church is located at the corner of Manchester Road and Ballas Road in Des Peres, Missouri, (a suburb of St. Louis), across the street from West County Mall. You know...the big stone church you drive by all the time! We'd love to see you this week. Join us at any one of our worship services.

St. Paul's heritage is the history of God keeping His promises to His people. God has been faithful to the people of St. Paul's as He has come to them through His Word, through Holy Baptism and through the Lord's Supper.

Our history began in 1849 in a small log cabin church at the site of the current cemetery. St. Paul's is now a large congregation with two campuses, one on each side of that first church site. Throughout its history, this church has reached out and ministered to the West County community and far beyond--even to many foreign countries--with the Gospel. St. Paul's has been a city of light set on a hill at Manchester and Ballas Roads.

We worship as God's people who have experienced and received Christ's empowering love by new birth through Holy Baptism and we thank and praise Him in grateful worship.
