About Faith Community Lutheran Church

We are a church that is happy to pray specifically and boldly for needs all around Zimmerman, across the region, and to the ends of the earth. It is our privilege to see God answer prayer on a regular basis. Our prayer list is quite long. It often contains sensitive information that is suitable to share internally but not externally or on the internet. Those who are a part of our Faith community receive prayer updates from the church office at the end of every week via email and on Sunday mornings in the worship folder.

FAITH PANTRY

This unique food shelf is different than most. There are no questions asked, no screening, and no forms to fill out. ALL ARE WELCOME! We encourage those who need assistance or have been turned away from other agencie
s to please stop by.

This is how one lady describes how our Distribution works in her eyes (and it is right on):

"Distribution at Faith Pantry is open to ANYONE (there are NO distance limits.....the door is open to EVERYONE) and starts at 9 a.m. every Thursday morning. You will mainly find fresh produce, a variety of breads and bakery items. There is a NON-FOOD donation table where people can find clothes, and who knows what else, that have been donated. There is a number system in place (1 of each number) which keeps everything orderly. Numbers are drawn randomly, also, so there's no need to try to be the first one there. The rule of thumb is take ONLY what you and your family need for the week. Please remember that there are people waiting to go through the line, that need food just as much as you do. The doors are open at 7:45 a.m. and they have coffee for everyone to enjoy. If you have items to donate they can be delivered to the church at 8 a.m. Thursday morning or you can contact Lisa Brix, 763-772-5288, who is the Pantry's Director. Bring your own laundry basket/box/tote/bags to bring your food home in. The distribution is usually done AND put away by 9:30, so if you are coming on a Thursday morning, its best to be there before 9:00 am. The team will go through some announcements (and a little fun!!) and inform you of any other food distributions coming up promptly at 9:00."

We also serve Coffee 7:45 to 9:00.

Faith Pantry is open on Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 am. Distribution does not start till 9:00 am. We are located at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 12266 255th Avenue Zimmerman, MN. (3/4 mile south of the Zimmerman stoplight on HWY 169.)
