Wide Awake UCC is a multi-racial, multi-cultural, open and affirming, regional church.
Wide Awake UCC in Benton Harbor, Michigan, is a Christ-centered ministry with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior as the head.
We are a ministry that focuses on reaching the non-churched and the under-churched so that they may have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We seek to liberate the non-liberate, to give hope and power to the forgotten and left out.
A ministry that informs, educates, and equips God's people in a modern day world to bridge the sacred with the secular.
A biblically based, social justice ministry that will stand for, and with, those who have been treated in an unjust and unfair way.
The ministry will work to restore the middle class in the Benton Harbor region.
We will maintain this mission through advocacy, charity, and justice for humanity.
Wide Awake UCC is a ministry that is engaged in society in order to make a more integrated, loving, and caring world.
Biblical mandate: Old Testament Micah 6 1-8, New Testament Matthew 25: 31-46.
