Renaissance Unity has Sunday Service at 8:00 & 10:00 a.m.

Our smaller, more intimate service is held in the chapel.

10:00 a.m. Adult & Youth Service

Our full celebration on Sunday, which is held in the main sanctuary, includes a powerful message and inspirational music and is a gatheringof diverse souls seeking a spiritual experience.

Our Path

Evolving from a small group of people who met in Detroit nearly seventy years ago, Renaissance Unity is a spiritual community of members from diverse backgrounds, traditions and orientations. We are widely recognized as a vibrant resource center for spiritual enrichment and personal development. There are life-enhancing activities and learning experiences for all. Whether participating in programs offered during the week - classes, support groups, seminars, social events - or Sunday and Wednesday services, people find love, support, encouragement and fellowship.

Our Organization

The spiritual and educational needs of members receive top priority at Renaissance Unity. This is reflected in our unique organizational structure that supports the ministerial team in focusing on ministry. Utilizing a dynamic management model for large congregations, the ministerial team is responsible for spiritual direction and oversight of the church’s core services and the business operations are managed by a professional executive team. The Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring that the ministerial and executive teams are working together in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
