About Living Waters Assembly of God
-
The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with 300 people at the founding convention. Today, there are nearly 13,000 churches in the United States, with over 3 million members, and more than 69 million members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination. The four core beliefs of the Assemblies of God are Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Living Waters Assembly of God (LWAOG) is an ever-growing and changing church family, located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. We are an Evangelical Church, meaning we are in agreement with the Christian gospel, especially as it is presented in the four Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We also have classical Pentecostal roots. For more information on our beliefs, see What We Believe here.
Our beliefs are based on the Bible, and our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify God, and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. That means we are not about a building, or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy and freedom that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ. We seek to present Jesus, the Messiah, through Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship and Compassion ministries, and strive to present every person complete in Christ, mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him.
