The story of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church began in 1963 when Eugene Peterson was asked to start a church in Bel Air, Maryland with the assistance of the Baltimore Presbytery PC(USA) and First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air.
Pastor Peterson began his ministry by inviting his neighbors to experience the amazing love of God through Jesus Christ and to gather together in worship, prayer and service. 50 years later that invitation still stands.
