About Ascension Lutheran Church
Ascension Lutheran Church is a community where friends are found, tears are shed, joy abounds, and serving others is a way of life. Children and Youth Activities
- Youth Group
On the 1st and 3rd and 5th (when there is one) Sundays from September through May, students in 7th through 12th grade are invited for a meal in The Great Hall at 6:00pm, followed by a gathering in the Youth Room with games, Bible study, devotions, prayer and all kinds of fun, faith-building activities. Our youth are also active with the Delaware-Maryland Synod youth gatherings and they look forward to attending the ELCA's Youth Gathering in San Antonio in 2018.
God Squad
Students in 4th through 6th grade are invited to gather once a month (generally on the second Friday) from 6:30pm – 8:00pm for a meal, games, Bible study and prayer. Occasionally, special off-site events are planned. Friends are always welcome. Watch our calendar for dates and details.
