About Triune Church of God in Christ

Triune Church of God in Christ was founded in 1972 in the home of Deacon Willie Green and Mother Sidonia Cage Green in Bayou Sale, La. The founding pastor Charles C. Watkins served this congregation for 42 years until the Lord called him to his heavenly reward. Bishop James W. Proctor served as interim pastor prior to appointing Elder Benny J. Druilhet Sr. as pastor. The congregation moved to its current location at 1118 Barrow Street in Franklin LA in 2012, where they continue to worship, study, and serve the Franklin community.

The Triune COGIC is a part of the Church of God in Christ Inc., which has a worldwide membership of over 6.5 million and is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the world. Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake leads the Church of God in Christ.

Elder Benny J. Druilhet Sr. was appointed Pastor of Triune COGIC on January 6, 2018 by Bishop James W. Proctor, Prelate of the Louisiana First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ Inc. Elder Druilhet previously served as Pastor of Bethlehem COGIC in Patterson, LA for the past 13 years. He and his wife, Valarie, have six children: Delores, Glenda, Benny Jr., William, David (deceased) and Daniel.

Elder Druilhet was trained in the Charles Harrison Mason System of Bible Colleges, and was ordained as an elder in the Church of God in Christ in 2002. Elder Druilhet is also a graduate of the Louisiana Technical College. Pastor Druilhet preaches and teaches the word of God with no reservations. Druilhet says that he is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. His message is that living according to word of God with the aid of the Holy Spirit is essential to a victorious life and the answer to the problems in today's society.

Triune's Sunday services begin with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:45 a.m.
Prayer and Bible Study Classes Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.,
Ladies fellowship meeting is held every third Saturday at the church at 9:30 a.m.
