In 1999, Christian World began in a little white building behind McNeese State University. It was here that God proved that no matter what the building looked like, people would come from everywhere to hear the message.
Christian World grew so quickly in three years that we purchased and began renovations on what had been the Cinema Six building in Lake Charles. We occupied this facility for three years and were well on our way to the last stage of renovations when God stepped in and revealed the next step for us.
In August of 2006, Christian World acquired the beautiful Gauthier Road campus. This 80 acre campus is the largest ministry campus in Southwest Louisiana. In seven short years from our beginnings, we moved again because of God's favor and the blessings of growth. Today, with a 3400 seat auditorium and a state-of-the-art facility, God has truly blessed us under the leadership of Pastors Jerry and Hope.
The message of hope and love has expanded beyond the local church where Pastors Jerry and Hope are called to pastor. Through Christian World's outreach programs and community involvement, we are touching our city with the hands of Christ. "Little becomes much when God is in it", says Pastor Jerry. "He always makes us look better and smarter...truth is, His plans are better than ours."
