About Beacon Hill Baptist Church


  • Beacon Hill Baptist Church was planted by a group of believers from First Baptist Church of Somerset in 1965. From that time forward, the congregation on the Hill has strived to serve as a beacon to the people of Pulaski County and beyond with a ministry that invites you to Come to the way, Grow in the truth and Go in the life through Jesus Christ.

    After 50 years of worship, this desire of the congregation has not dimmed.

    We exist to light the Way to Life in Jesus Crhrist with the Truth of God's Word For All People

    We are,
    A people of PURPOSE, loving God with all that we are.
    A people of MISSION, making disciples of all nations.
    A people of VISION, seeking that many be added to Christ's Kingdom.
    A people of DEVOTION, committed to Scripture, Fellowship, Worship and Prayer.

    Beacon Hill Baptist Church is cooperatively affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Pulaski Baptist Association.

    Beacon Hill Baptist Church wants to provide a safe, fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. We will provide an environment where students are safe, loved, and mentored. Church should be a place where students should feel comfortable to bring their friends to learn about Jesus Christ.

    C3 Student Ministries

    Beacon Hill's youth ministry exist to make disciples that make disciples. We are to come alongside parents and help train students to go share the Gospel of Jesus in our community and beyond. To equip them to equip others, in turn, to have a never ending growth of Christ followers.

    SS is broken into seven classes:
    7-8th boys
    9-10th boys
    11-12th boys
    7th girls
    8th girls
    9-10 girls
    11-12 girls

    Wednesday Night Bible Study (WNBS) 6:01pm

  • Parking: We have plenty of parking on site, and we will have a members of our church family at the door ready to greet you and help you find where to go.
  • Dress Code: Many of our regular attendees dress casually while some wear more traditional church clothes. Come as you are!
