About Central Community Church

Our Purpose

Know Christ and make Him known!

Our Mission

Central Community Church’s mission is to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by passionately pursuing all people for eternal life through biblical teaching, vibrant worship, and authentic community.

Our Church Values

All relationships should be marked by truth, unity, and love.

Every believer within this community is responsible to use his or her spiritual gifts, time, energy, and finances for honoring God through ministry.

The church can worship God in a seeker-sensitive manner.

Lost people matter to God and therefore matter to the church.

Clear biblical teaching is the catalyst for life transformation and that ongoing life-change happens best in purpose driven small groups.

We are a community where children and youth are highly valued, we sacrificially share the responsibility of raising godly children and youth.

God designed the family to be the primary disciple making relationship.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be God’s inerrant, inspired Word – we revere its truth and respect its reproofs.

We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons:

Creator – God… is our heavenly Father, infinitely perfect, and intimately acquainted with all our ways.

Jesus Christ… our Lord, God who came in human flesh – the object of our worship and the subject of our praise.

Holy Spirit… the third member of the God-head, at work convicting, convincing, and comforting.

We believe that because of sin, man is without hope of heaven, apart from the new birth, made possible by the Savior’s death and bodily resurrection – those accepting Jesus Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized.

We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to Evangelize the lost, Exalt God, Encourage God’s family, Educate for maturity, and Equip for ministry.

We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return, which could occur at any moment – and He will reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We believe that all who have died will be brought back from beyond – believers to everlasting fellowship with God and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God.

As members of the body of Christ, Christ followers affirm and uphold the fundamental truths of the Scripture (as summarized in our Statement of Faith) and refrain from promoting other doctrines in ways that cause dissension.
