Calvary Baptist Church of Lenexa exists to bring glory to God
Calvary Baptist Church of Lenexa has been located in Lenexa, Kansas and associated with the Southern Baptist Convention since its founding in 1960.
God created us to glorify Him. Therefore, we fulfill our purpose in this life and the next when we are worshiping Him (Revelation 4:11). While many today emphasize topics that are aimed at making people feel better about themselves, the church’s supreme and central task is to worship God (Ephesians 3:20-21).
Our motto at Calvary Baptist Church of Lenexa is that we live for His glory and our good. Scripture provides clear ways to glorify God. We use these biblical principles to shape all of our ministries into three areas: Upward, Inward, and Outward. You can learn more about these ministries throughout this site and how they assist us in fulfilling our eternal destiny.
