About St. Paul's Episcopal Church
-
We are a small and very friendly congregation that celebrates the Holy Eucharist/Mass/Holy Communion at 8:30 AM each Sunday. Our services vary with the liturgical seasons, feature good preaching, limited acappella singing and are followed by an informal Coffee Hour. These services are filled with a worship-filled sense of God's living presence.
We are currently going through a major effort to repair and update our two buildings. These improvements include a newly completed roofing of our church building, a new energy efficent furnaces and AC unit in our parish house and, hopefully, the addition of a handi-capped ramp at the church in 2014. Our church building is the oldest such building still in use in Carroll County.
We are involved in a variety of outreach activiities that include the Food Pantry, "The Table" daily feeding program for the poor, and the "Neat Repeat " used clothing store. We are active participants in the variety of ecumenical services and programs sponsored by the Savanna Inter Church Council of which our Vicar is the President in 2014 and which meets at St. Pauls.
