About Epiphany Lutheran Church
We, the members of Epiphany Lutheran Church, seek to be a welcoming and caring community of faith, proclaiming and celebrating the love of God in Jesus Christ, and living humbly as God's servants in the world.Epiphany is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Through our members, we are closely connected to Southern Illinois University.
The center of our congregational life is worship. We gather each Sunday morning to encounter God in word and sacrament, song and prayer. We also provide opportunities for fellowship, education, service to the local community and the state of Illinois, and support of the church at large - both domestic and international. We are ecumenically minded and a member of the Carbondale Interfaith Council.
