About Christian Life Church

Welcome to Christian Life Church of Herrin, Illinois!

Hi, my name is Steve Galbo. I'm the pastor of Christian Life Church (CLC) and I am so excited that you’ve chosen to visit our website today. It is our desire to create a God-honoring community where each and every person can know and be known, love and be loved, serve and be served, and celebrate and be celebrated. You’ll find a casual, family environment where lives are being changed by the power of God. Rest assured that you are welcome here!

Take some time to find out who we are and what’s happening at Christian Life Church. You’ll be glad you did!

WHO WE ARE :

The mission of Christian Life Church is:

To give the message of Christ to those who don’t know;
to equip and develop those who believe.

We are a missional, Spirit-led church that desires to serve God, our community, and the world with a whole heart, and in the context of loving relationships.

We are:

Young and old
Divorced, married, single, & widowed
White collar and blue collar
High school dropouts and university professors
Doctors, laborers, homemakers, business owners, and farmers
Children of privilege and former gang bangers

While CLC has a paid staff, the responsibility for ministry is largely placed in the hands of its members. We desire to build an empowered church congregation in accordance with Ephesians 4:11-13. What makes us a church is our common love for God and our earnest desire to share with others the abundant life that can only be found in a genuine relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ.
