About Griffin First Church of the Nazarene

We believe in God the father who is the Creator and Ruler of our world. He is a single God with three equal entities called the trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in Christ who is equal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus after living a sinless life offered himself as a sacrifice for our sins, because of his great love for us. He demonstrated his power over death when he arose from the dead after three days. He ascended to heaven and makes intercession for us. He will one day return as king to the earth.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who is equal to the Father and Son. He is present in the world today and helps us see our need for Jesus Christ. Once we have accepted Christ's work on the cross for us, he helps us understand why God's ways are best for us.

The Children learn together in Sunday School and Children's Church.
We have fun together. Vacation Bible School is at High Falls Water Park this year .

We are involved in Missions - We are going to mission day at Barnesville Church of the Nazarene in August.
Youth Ministry
Although at times imperfect, we strive to be our best at being Christlike in all we do and say. We play and have fun, but we also have our serious side too when we worship our Savior.
