About Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford
-
As a congregational church, we hold onto some tradition (candles lit, scene set for reverence) with some modern tweaks (in Communion for example, shared once a month, we used real bread and grape juice to go over the Last Supper and Jesus’ sacrifice). Our service includes greeting and catching up with one another, singing, prayer and the sermon. Our service is largely informal.
Our church doors are open for people of all ages, creeds, races, sexual orientations and places in life. Where ever you come from, God loves you, you are our brethren in Christ and you are welcome among us. We have one service on Sundays, 9:30 AM, followed by a coffee hour where we can chat, sip coffee and have some goodies.
If you would like to get involved with our church or volunteer, we have many activities going on throughout the year, such as our annual dinners, flea markets and fundraisers. We would love for you to find your place among our community. None of us are perfect, but we don't have to be. Let's support each other as best we can.
We hope to see you soon! Questions? Contact our FB page (@SecondCongregationalChurchatWS) or call us as 860-684-2336.
