Service Times

WORSHIP SERVICES & SUNDAY SCHOOL

8:15 CLASSIC LITURGICAL WORSHIP

The traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymns form the basis of this service, which frequently includes choir and hand bell music. Holy Communion is offered every Sunday.

10:30 CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP

This very contemporary and informal celebration of God’s love features lively contemporary Christian music and an energetic proclamation of the Good News in Jesus Christ.

9:30 SUNDAY SCHOOL

Concordia’s Sunday School program provides an energetic and Christ-centered opportunity for our children to grow in their faith and in their relationship with Christ. On most Sundays, the time begins with a children’s choir rehearsal from 9:00 to 9:30, incorporating both singing and “chiming” for the children, who then present a Christmas musical as well as occasional presentation songs for Sunday morning worship.

9:35 ADULT CLASSES

Adult Bible study, held in the fellowship hall, offers a variety of classes designed to enhance our spiritual growth, often coordinated with the current Sunday worship themes.

About Concordia Lutheran Church

We believe and teach the doctrine of the Holy Trinity; one God as he reveals himself as three distinct persons. God the Father, Creator and owner of all the heavens and the earth.

Jesus Christ, God’s Son who –being fully God and fully human –suffered and died for the sins of all people, was raised from the dead and through the Father’s mercy gives eternal life to all who believe in Him. As followers of Jesus, we now seek to live our lives in grateful response to what He has already done.

The Holy Spirit creates faith and strengthens us to follow Christ’s example and to be change agents in this world.

Grace Alone

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”The only way we can have forgiveness for our sins is through God’s grace and mercy, which he offers us freely in Christ.

Faith Alone

Christ died on the cross for the sins of all people and rose to life again. In doing so, He won eternal life for all who believe in Him –life that is ours through faith in Him.

Scripture Alone

The Bible is God’s inspired Word. The Law and the Gospel are the guideposts on the path to eternal salvation through faith in Christ.
