About St. Francis Episcopal Mission Outreach Center

St. Francis Episcopal Mission Outreach Center is one of two Episcopal churches in San Bernardino.  We have Mass at 10:00 every Sunday followed by a robust Sunday dinner in the hall after the Mass.
The congregation is extremely friendly (as evidenced during our exchange of peace during our Sunday Mass!) and very commited to following the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We especially welcome those who do not now have a faith home to give us a try!
The Episcopal Church invites all baptized Christians to receive communion in our church.  We believe that communion (the reception of Jesus' body and blood in the form of bread and wine) is the means to the unity of all Christians, and not just the sign of unity.
Worship is traditional (organ) with songs from the Episcopal Church Hymnal as well as from contemporary sources.  Occasional guest musicians and singers grace us with their musical ministries.
The Episcopal Church and St. Francis parish take very seriously our calling as Christians to love all people, even those some consider "enemies under special circumstances" (those of a different faith, color of skin, language group, national origin or sexual orientation).
We recently upgraded our sound system to insure a better listening experience.
St. Francis is blessed with lots of land around the church.  We're currently working in collaboration with the Seeds of Hope program in our diocese (Los Angeles) to utilize that land more effectively.  Possibilities include a farming operation to feed the homeless or those in crisis.  We hope to have more information available as the year 2015 progresses.
