The Christian Science Society of Sedona is one of many Christian Science churches throughout the world. In 1879, Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian Science, founded The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA. with the purpose "To organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." Church Manual 17: 10-13.
Since 1954, Christian Science services have been held in Sedona and the Verde Valley. You, your family and friends are welcome to all of our services and to bring children to the Sunday School.
