No matter what your story is, at Upper Sand Mountain Methodist we believe that with God as the foundation, everybody can write a story of hope and success. Meet other believers from in and around Sylvania in Alabama and make friends so you can enjoy the journey together. They were happy to share their food and ate with joyful hearts." Acts 2:46
We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned through the temptation of Satan, corrupting that image. As a result, all humanity is alienated from God and under His wrath and can be rescued, reconciled, and restored only through God's gracious work in Jesus Christ.
About God The Father: God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
About Generosity: Give it away - You can give without living, but you can't love without giving. 'The son of God... loved me and gave himself for me.' - Galatians 2:20
