About Heritage Baptist Church
We are an independent Baptist Church that seeks to glorify God and edify His people. Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus.Whether you are new to the Opelika area or a long-time resident, we love seeing how God’s Word meets the needs in the lives of new friends.
Our people are friendly, and the atmosphere of our services is designed to display reverence for God. We earnestly endeavor to bring people face to face with God’s Word through traditional Gospel hymns and Biblical preaching.

- Dress Code: We understand that every church is unique, and guests usually don’t like to be suprised. We hope this information will be of help. On Sundays we still like to wear our “Sunday Best”. Many of our men will wear jackets and ties (or casual pants and a dress shirt), and most of our ladies wear dresses. In the mid-week service many of our men will wear casual pants and a golf style shirt, and our ladies will wear skirts and blouses. We want our guests to feel comfortable when attending our services, so please understand that there is no dress code. Come and join us this Sunday. You will feel right at home as our guest this weekend.
