About Chilton Baptist Association
-
We exist to connect and strengthen churches to complete the Great Commission.
How we go about our mission
We focus on three primary objectives to accomplish our mission:
Support and Strengthen Leaders
Support and Strengthen Churches
Support and Strengthen Missional Engagement
Support and Strengthen Leaders
According to some statistical findings, 91% of pastors feel burnout in their ministry roles, with only 10% continuing until retirement. Many church leaders often feel isolated in their responsibilities. Our aim is to genuinely support and empower lead pastors, alongside other staff and volunteers in church leadership. We are committed to providing resources within the context of relationships, believing this path leads to genuine transformation.
Support and Strengthen Churches
Every church encounters challenges, and not one is flawless. Thus, a one-size-fits-all method isn't effective. Though churches share a common DNA, each is as unique as a fingerprint. Our aim is to support churches by providing assessment, training, and resources to empower them in their missional vision. Through the CBA HUB, we present online courses assisting churches with the various ministries of their congregation.
Support and Strengthen Missional Engagement
As an association, we don't do things for our churches, and we don't do things to our churches. Rather, we do things with our churches.
In other words, we don't do mission for you, but we come alongside you and your church to support and strengthen your missional engagement, whether it is in your own neighborhood or the farthest nations of the world. We aim to connect the mission force to the mission field because the Great Commission requires Great Collaboration.
