At Antioch, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We really strive to be a church that meets people where they are, whether you've been following Jesus for many years or are just starting to investigate faith. Our hope is that you will discover Antioch in Montgomery, Alabama to be a place where you can find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and discover the mission for your life.
We believe that every human being is created and valued by God; therefore, people of every race, ethnicity, age, gender, background, ability and disability are invited to be a part of this faith community. We believe that we need each other. No matter who you are, it's a lot easier to follow God with friends than it is by ourselves.
About Repentance: Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive God's forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation.
About Love: God is love. He loves us and wants for us to spend eternity with Him. He also wants for us to express His love to others by meeting them where they are in life with the message of salvation.
