About St. Thomas More


  • St. Thomas More, a Roman Catholic Parish located in Narragansett Rhode Island, is a dynamic and growing faith-filled community dedicated to Jesus Christ.

    We are a vibrant and ever-growing Catholic community of over 1325 families, our parish shares two worship sites at St. Thomas More Church and St. Veronica Chapel, yet remains one family united under the patronage of St. Thomas More.

    Our Mission

    To foster growth in the faith of our community through many spiritual, social and outreach programs to serve the poor and needy. May we grow in our love of and devotion to God in concert with the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Community Activities

  • Food Collection – We hold a monthly collection on the first week of each month. Collection bins are located at all the entrances to both churches. Donations benefit the Johnny Cake Center in Wakefield, Rhode Island.

    Mission Trips – Hogar Emmanuel Orphanage, Dominican Republic

    Mother Teresa Fund – These donations assist our parishioners in need used at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all year long if the form of gift card assistance.

    Latino Outreach – info about St. Charles Borromeo Church in Providence

    Pennies for the Poor – Near the parking lot entrances of St. Thomas More Church and at St. Veronica Chapel, there is a small box where people place change, mostly pennies. Donations go to the Diocesan Dire Emergency Fund in South County that helps with rental assistance, utilities, prescriptions. Thanks to all who make “change”, “change” the world.

    St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Bin – located in the parking lot of St. Thomas More.
