  • St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Wesley Foundation is located at 250 East College Avenue in the heart of downtown State College, bordering the main campus of the Pennsylvania State University.

    Since 1888, the congregation of St. Paul’s has been committed to ministry at this strategic location with students and permanent residents alike. Steeped in a rich heritage of classical worship, St. Paul’s also incarnates the outreaching spirit that is typical of the people of the United Methodist Church. In the name of Jesus, the congregation of St. Paul’s is eager to nurture a generation of Christian leaders for the 21st century.

  • Parking: Weekends and Evenings

    St. Paul’s parking lot, located behind the Education Center and accessible from Calder Way via Locust Lane, is available for parking on weekends and evenings for those attending church functions. Reserved Sunday morning parking for expectant/new mothers is located on Calder Way between the entrances to Wesley and the Church buildings. Reserved Sunday morning visitor parking spaces are located in the weekly visitor parking spots on Calder Way. Reserved Sunday morning handicapped parking is available on McAllister Street between Calder Way and College Avenue.

    In addition, metered parking is available on the street and in the McAllister Street Parking Deck. Please note that the Borough of State College enforces all metered street parking, lots, and decks Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. All municipal meters, including those in the McAllister Street Parking Deck, are free all day Sunday. For complete information about parking in the downtown area, please refer to Parking Options on the Borough of State College website.

    Weekdays

    St. Paul’s parking lot is fully rented Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you are visiting the church during these hours, please park on the street or in the McAllister Street Parking Deck. Quarters are available in the church office to reimburse your parking meter costs. Any vehicle parked in the church lot without an identification sticker will be towed at the owner’s expense.
