About Archbold Evangelical Church
Archbold Evangelical Church is a multi-generational church that believes in the authority of scripture for our life and practice. We are passionate about serving Archbold and joining God in the renewal of the Tri-State area. We have a rich heritage and we are compelled to work together in church planting efforts throughout the tri-state area as well as in various gospel efforts around the world.The Archbold Evangelical Church (AEC) is a spiritual family that finds its greatest sense of identity around our statement of faith. One of our statements is our belief that the Bible is God's Word to all people. From this belief comes our priority of teaching and preaching as a means of working with the Holy Spirit to bring about spiritual life and spiritual formation in people. We work hard to explain, interpret, and apply the Word of God so it is accessible, ineligible, and understandable to people. We preach expositionally which means each Sunday the point of the sermon is the point of the passage of Scripture. The majority of our sermon series are us working through a whole book of the Bible section by section. Our hope is that people who worship with us, who accept AEC as their spiritual family will over a short period of time be shaped by the whole counsel of God.

Children and Youth Activities

Sunday School
Children ages 2 through 6th grade meet for Sunday School from 9:45-10:45. Each age group has their own room and teachers, and classes study through the Bible using age appropriate curriculum.
Children's Music
Kindergarten through 5th grade meet every Sunday from 9:45-10:00 to sing praises and learn songs that they sometimes present for others as a part of their worship time.
Children's Church
Children ages kindergarten and younger can attend a Children's Church time during the worship gatherings each Sunday. The children enjoy some playtime along with a Bible story and learning activity.
Nursery
We have a staffed nursery available during the Sunday morning gatherings. The nursery allows parents to attend while being assured that their little ones are being well cared for in a safe and loving environment. The nursery is for children younger than two years of age.
Wednesday Night
Connection Club Meets from 6:45-8:15pm at AEC!
Connection Club is open to children who will attend kindergarten next fall through this year’s sixth graders. Club meets on Wednesdays from 6:45pm until 8:15pm from mid-September through early May. Club members enjoy a worship time, a Bible lesson, Bible learning activities, and a small group time with a Christian mentor. Club members can also earn scholarship money for summer camp through attendance and Bible memorization. Join us every Wednesday for Connection Club - where kids get connected with God and His family!
Thursday Morning
Christian Story Hour
Christian Story Hour is for pre-school children two years old and older. We meet every Thursday morning at 10:00am for an hour. We read Christian story books that are centered around a theme for the day, and then do a simple activity to go with the story, and have a light snack.
