About Glen Alpine United Methodist Church

Glen Alpine UMC is a mission-minded church. All ages participate in our monthly breakfast (2nd Saturday), our Back to School Bash to hand out school supplies to local children, our Graduation Breakfast for local 5th graders, and donating food and money to feed the hungry.
Our youth do mission projects once a month and go on a mission trip during the summer months. Our United Methodist Men and Women do a number of mission projects during the year, which include supporting the local Burke United Christian Ministries (BUCM).
Of course, many of our members participate individually in our community. Some are mentors for children and youth. Some work at soup kitchens. Many care for the elderly, sick and bereaved. Living out our call to mission is very important to us at Glen Alpine UMC.
