About Church of The Living God


  • Our Vision

    In 1982 the Lord said to Evangelist Stephen K. Gyermeh the founder of CLG, “Postpone all of your scheduled meetings and wait on me for further directions”.

    At the end of 21 days of waiting upon the Lord in prayer and fasting, Pastor Gyermeh saw himself in a vision, walking with Jesus and the disciples. Jesus led them to the middle of the sea.

    All around them there were thousands of drowning people struggling to swim to safety.

    Jesus then declared: “All these are my people perishing, but they don’t know what to do to save themselves. Go and show them how it’s done.”

    Since its inception in 1983, The Church of the Living God (CLG) has had the Vision of reaching cities and nations with the Good News of the Gospel: “Rescuing the Perishing, Caring for the Dying.”

    Here are the exciting programs we have for kids ages 4-12 yrs.

    CHILDREN'S CHOIR

    The Children's Choir is a place where your child can learn how to praise and worship God in song
    Rehearsals every 1st & 3rd Saturday morning @ 11am
    Performance every 3rd Sunday morning @ 10am
    (Year-round)

    WARRIORS FOR CHRIST

    Warriors for Christ are classes designed to teach your children how to serve God and represent him in society
    Classes every 1st & 3rd Saturday @ 12:30pm
    Year-round

    KIDZ SHOWTIME

    Kidz Showtime is a showcase of kids talents
    Every 2nd Sunday evening at 6:30pm in the months of July and December

    VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

    Vacation Bible School is a week long study of God''s word in fun and engaging ways
    Every 2nd week of August yearly

    HALLELUJAH NIGHT

    Hallelujah Night is a celebration of Jesus and a kids fun night every year on October 31st @ 6:30pm

    Our mission is to engage and empower the Church of the Living God's youth and young adults - typically ages 13 to 30 - with the Word of God in accordance with the commission of Christ.

    We do this by placing an emphasis on the IMPACT of the living Word through our key scripture (1st Timothy 4:12) that encourages us to IMPACT the world with our words, our actions, our love and our life.
