- Godfrey First UMC is an active community of the "both/and." In a polarized world of "Either/Or" we are intentionally seeking the "Both/And"--celebrating the best of all of us: the deep traditions of our denominational faith heritage, and the modern trends that speak a relevant message to today's culture, conservative and liberal theology and politics, hymnody and praise music, organ music and praise band, etc. We hope you will come be a part of the vital and active movement of the Spirit among us.
