시카고 크리스천 교회는
미국 DOC(Disciples of Church)에 속한 한인교회입니다. 저희 교회는, ‘하늘 보좌를 바라보는 교회’의 비전을 마음에 품고 다음과 같은 교회 공동체를 지향 합니다. 시카고 크리스천 교회는 하늘 보좌를 바라보며, 예배하는 공동체 입니다. 저희 교회는 예배를 교회의 가장 중요한 역할로 이해합니다. 함께 모이기에 힘쓰고, 주님 다시 오심을 기다리며, 이민자들의 삶에 주어진 여러 상황속에서 감사와 찬송이 끊어지지 않는 교회가 되고자 힘쓰고 있습니다. 시카고 크리스천 교회는 하늘 보좌를 바라보며, 선교하는 공동체 입니다. 저희 교회는 선교와 전도를 삶의 예배가 되는 중요한 실천으로 이해합니다. 주님께서 베푸신 은혜를 통해 주님을 깊게 사랑하고, 주님의 제자가 되어 주님께서 주신 지상명령의 과제를 수행하기 위해서 힘쓰고 있습니다. 시카고 크리스천 교회는 하늘 보좌를 바라보며, 양육하는 공동체 입니다. 저희 교회는 예배의 예배 됨을 위해서, 또한 제자의 제자됨을 위해서 그리고 교회의 본질을 지켜내기 위해서 양육 에 집중하는 교회입니다. 이를 위해서, ‘내 시간의 마중물’이라 불려지는, QT 교육과 나눔, 1:1 제자 양육인 ‘만나 며 사랑하며’를 중심으로 모두 6단계의 양육 프로그램을 통해서, ‘재생산과 양육’을 이루는 교회가 되고자 힘쓰고 있습니다.

Chicago Christian Church
It is a Korean church belonging to the Disciples of Church (DOC) in the United States. Our church is aiming for the following church community with the vision of ‘a church looking at the heavenly throne’. Chicago Christian Church is a community that looks to the throne of heaven and worships. Our church understands worship as the most important role of the church. We strive to gather together, wait for the return of the Lord, and strive to become a church that does not cease to give thanks and praise in the various situations given to the lives of immigrants. Chicago Christian Church is a missionary community looking to the throne of heaven. Our church understands mission and evangelism as important practices that become worship of life. Through the grace of the Lord, we love the Lord deeply, become His disciples, and do our best to fulfill the task of the Lord's Great Commission. Chicago Christian Church is a community that looks to the throne of heaven and nurtures it. Our church is a church that focuses on nurturing for the worship of worship, for discipleship, and to preserve the essence of the church. To this end, a church that achieves 'reproduction and nurture' through a 6-step nurturing program centered on 'meet and love', which is called 'priming for my time', QT education and sharing, and 1:1 discipleship.
