About Tanque Verde Lutheran Church

Welcome to Tanque Verde Lutheran Church. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, made up of about 1100 people of all shapes and sizes and a variety of ages. Whoever you are, wherever you have been, you are welcome here.

We see the gospel of Jesus Christ as a gracious gift that is meant to be shared. Our mission statement and our vision statement express our commitment to share the love of Christ throughout the world, and we hope we will always be in a process of becoming a dynamic, inviting, growing church that participates in God’s mission for the sake of the world.

We see ourselves as followers of Jesus who are trying to live that grace out in our daily lives. If you are strong in your faith, or just starting to ask the questions, if you are a life- long Lutheran, or just wondering what all that means, there is a place for you here.

We have a vibrant Preschool and Kindergarten on our campus as well as lively programs for people of all ages. We have three worship services every weekend, each with its own identity, all with the same purpose-to glorify God.

We hope we will get to know you better, and if you are looking for a church home, we hope we can help you find ways to become involved. This faith journey is a grand adventure, better when shared.
